Our vacation was awesome. I soooooooo needed that. Like I said in my last journal, I hadn't had a real vacation (ie. a vacation that didn't involve a ton of plans and constantly doing things; a vacation that was just about relaxing and not really doing much of anything) for almost 3 years.
So, we're back now. I'll post pictures when we get them developed and scanned (we both managed to leave our cameras at home, so I had to pick up a disposable).
Two moments stand out as being highlights of the trip:
1) Floating on my back, on foam noodles, in the warm water of the gulf, wearing my sunglasses and a hat over my face, letting the calm water slowly push me along.
2) Walking with Shalome on the beach at night, watching lightning on the horizon over the water, looking up and seeing the milky way, and then seeing three shooting stars over the course of a half hour, while the lightning on the horizon kept flashing.
bean!

Yeah... I didn't end up making out with those girls again, strangely enough. I still see them pretty regularly and awkwardness ensues.
