Lacking funds and time, this bean won't be going out, excepting a couple nights that I need in order to avoid sudden head explosion, until after the portfolio has been turned in on the 20th.
It's going well, though. I've gotten a lot of stuff done, and the work I've been unsure about has gotten praise from my portfolio-prep professor, who is one of the people who reviews portfolios, so that's good. I've got three projects to do this week though that require photography work, two of which require models, and those are always the most complicated projects, so I'm crossing my fingers that those go smoothly and I can successfully translate the image in my head to something more tangible.
My ex-wife has said that she'll help me with the car payments until we can figure out how to get rid of it, and is a bit surprised that I don't hate her for sticking me with the car, which I didn't want to buy in the first place. Four months after the fact, I still haven't told my parents we're not together anymore. Burying myself in schoolwork and my social life, and living an extra hour away in addition to the 2 hours away I used to live have made avoiding that awkwardness easier. I'll have to tell them soon, though, especially if I end up having a house guest within the next month or two.

The site is evolving rapidly, and isn't painful anymore. The new features now officially outweigh any remaining design issues. Unfortunately, the Terminator is still our governor-elect, and as far as I know, there's nothing Sean, Olivia, s5, Missy, Erin, or anyone else on the SG staff can do about that, but I'll keep hoping.
------------------------------------
The quest to collect bite bruises has suffered due to my not going out lately. Hopefully I'll get lots when we go out for my birthday, though.
Oh, and another thing that sucks about having so much shit to do this month... After this weekend, I'll be the only person in southern california that has seen neither Underworld nor Kill Bill, but really wants to see both. Grrrr..
Woo! my desktop is up.
