I woke up today a little melancholy because it was over.
Maybe I'll elaborate a bit. Maybe I won't. I'm not sure yet. And don't assume anything. You have no idea.
I just got done waiting in a line for exactly 1 hour 51 minutes, and I'm back at work for another couple hours. I'm sick. I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I'm emotionally, physically, and mentally drained. The flipside of all that is that my heart is on fire, my school is paid for, and....well, ok that's it, but that's still enough to make me smile...or I would, if I had the energy.
update: did I mention I'm sick? Ouch. My chest hurts and I'm all achy and there's nobody around to make me feel better. Foo. I think I'll just hang out in chat for awhile and then go home and curl up on my complete lack of a couch with my nobody else and watch the colors dance around my iTunes display.
