It's poetry journal day. And to that end:

bean has gas, once more
not that kind of gas, you freak
warm shower tonight

So yeah, I finally got my gas turned on, and this evening before I head out to the Burgundy Room I'll be taking my first warm shower since the 2nd of this month. Woo!


After class last night, I'm really feeling good about school. I got kind of down on design for awhile, but over the last year or so I've been doing more motion graphics (film titles, trailers, anything that involves design in motion), and I'm really happy with the work I've been producing. I still have to put together a portfolio of mostly print work to get into the hardcore program at school, and my print portfolio is a bit lacking in breadth, but I think they'll let me focus on motion graphics once I'm in. I still don't really know what I want to do with my life, but I'm enjoying where I'm at right now, and where I'm going doesn't look so bleak anymore, so I feel pretty good about things.
