So, everyone is talking about this movie The Aristocrats, which I missed because everyone saw it while I was at Burning Man. The movie is based on one really bad, really raunchy joke. Now, from what I have heard, the highlight of this film is a mime. This concerns me. I do not like mimes. Mimes tend to fall into the same category as clowns do for me. Clowns disturb me because no one should be that happy. Mimes disturb me because no one should be that quiet. Of course, the only thing they have in common is a painted face. Maybe that's the problem. I don't like those guys who paint their faces all up at the football games either. I mean, I am all for team spirit, but please, have some dignity.
I will more than likely see The Aristocrats despite the aforementioned mime. Hopefully, my discomfort will not color my experience.
NOTE TO SELF: After seeing The Aristocrats, write follow-up stage play based on The Owl Joke, and cast a strictly verbal ensemble. Try to include illusions to the geopolitical ramifications of ass fucking.
