Did a little drinking yesterday because it was my friend Trisha's birthday. Actually, we have been celebrating it since Saturday, when we had drinks with friends at our usual bar and then went to her house for a slumber party. That was fun. Mostly, we drank frozen Mango Mojitos and wandered around the garden looking for her rogue cat, Beryl.
Last night, we had drinks at The Rose & Raindrop until our friend Jeffery suggested that we do some hot tubbing at his place.
You know what I learned? Drinking rum while soaking naked in a 104 degree jacuzzi may not be the best idea ever. After simmering for about half an hour, I was one cooked goose. Also, I learned that I should stop drinking before 2 a.m. when I have to work at 5 a.m.
Who am I kidding? I had a blast. Plus I got to wear my "debutante" t-shirt. Whee!
