Day 6, Playlist #6, "Sumptuous Blues"
The sun is shining on my shoulders today. It's beautiful in Portland today and I am feeling languid and slinky and all together good. It feels like the kind of day when it would be lovely just to sit in the sun sipping mint juleps and contemplating the feel of the sun on your skin. It's also puuurrrfect for some slinky, sensuous blues music.
These are some of my favorites. They're the kind of songs you can't help but move to. They make you wanna close your eyes, roll your shoulders back and grind your hips against someone elses hips. It's a beautiful thing.
