Yay! I'm back from the cabin.

It was beautiful and peaceful and probably just what I needed. I considered going to the local lodge (Whistling Jack's) to have a drink and mix with the locals/skiers, but the snow and ice kept me cabin-bound.
So, I spent a lot of time reading, sitting on the porch swing and watching the river, playing games and basically doing nothing.
It snowed on and off just enough to make me worry that I wouldn't be able to get out when it was time to go home, but it turned out fine.
Actually, the trip reminded me how much I miss backpacking. I haven't been for a long time and I forgot how much I loved the peaceful feeling of disappearing into the woods.
I posted some pictures of the trip as well as some headshots I just had done. (They haven't been retouched or edited yet)
Now, I need a shower, cause I'm pretty sure I still smell like a campfire. G'head...scratch and sniff me.
