If you could find out through genetic testing the exact origin of your DNA, would you want to? Even if it meant learning that all those things you believe about your heritage might be untrue?

My paternal grandfather left my grandmother when my father was very young. He was never spoken of. This has become an all-consuming mystery to me and one day I will actually pay the money to get the records and do the research. Otherwise, I'm Irish, Scottish and English by way of Canada.
