*** UPDATE: I did it. I went more Katie Holmes than Posh Spice, though. Fiendclub, my sister, reminded me that it's easier to start long and go shorter than it is if you start short and try to grow your hair out long, while still keeping the shape. the under-layer of it is red, which you can see more in the back than you can in the front. ALSO, since I cut off more than 10 inches my stylist told me that she's gonna try to donate it to locks of love!!! I'll post new pics, soon! **
None of you know this because I've been out of the loop for so long.. but my hair is pretty fucking long. Long, Black and Straight.
I'm fucking sick of it.
I'm currently caught in a "comfy" rut. I've been wearing the same clothes to work for the past year and I've been wearing the same flat shoes to work that my mom bought me while I was in California in April.
I'm fucking sick of it.
So today, I'm going to cut my hair. I'm extremely fucking nervous because it will change from long enough to reach the small of my back to an angled bob, posh spice style. I've also spent a few hundred bucks on new clothes for work, but the thought of wearing them makes me sick to my stomach.
I really don't want to draw attention to myself at work, I'm known for being a minimalist who doesn't really give a shit about self-image. Before I moved to Texas I had no problem rocking fashionable skirts and pumps... but these people don't know that.
I'm just being stupid, I guess... You can't run from change.
