Riding around robbing banks all whacked out on Scoobie snacks
Friday I went to a drunken poker tournement (if you win a hand, you are required to do a half shot, or half a beer... it is supposed to be an equalizer of sorts). I didn't place first, and I didn't place last. (every hands a winner, and every hands a loser). But it was fun and I got to wish an old friend happy birthday. Tragically this means I missed PhatLaces that evening on her journey to Foxwoods Casino.
Saturday I went climbing with friends in the afternoon. I had the most angry drive to the place. Which is bad because I had already been on the fence as to whether I wanted to continue going to this rock/wall climbing gym. The issues were somewhat intertwined:
a) long drive to get there
b) expensive rental equipment
c) not going enough, because it is a long drive and cash, so I'm not seeing too much improvement in my tek-a-niq.
and down the spiral we go... not seeing improvement, so I dont go, so I don't practise, which leads to not improving...
But after a while, my anger melted into thin air and I enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. For din-din we went to Bonzer land (and by that I mean the "outback" steakhouse). In case you are at all curious, It is coca-cola country down under (and not pepsi).
I did however strain my forearms, and I re-agrivated my back...
Which is a better reason to not continue with an activity. Luckily for me, I still have some flexi in the medicine cabinet.
Sunday I did some prep work for taxes, went to a friends to watch both football championships, and took a ton of advil to try to calm the back down a bit. and than I went home and popped the flexi, and slept like a little baby. And I missed last week's ultimatum of the triumphant return to the gym. Mostly because at 6 am, I was majorly groggy, and feeling a smidge; shall we say... sick from the medicines in the system. Back to sleep. Good job bb, rest well, I'll most likely kill you in the morning... (it is morning, and you have to go to work fool!)
I beheld a pale horse, and the man who sat on him was death. and hell followed with him.

6 more mins before my replacement gets here, then off to the meeting. And I just found out about 2 hours ago that I have another meeting at the same exact time for a place I volunteer for. Guess I won't be going to that one on time. I just want to go home and get something to eat.
Not a cranky butt yet, but I feel kinda queezy. Perhaps I'll luck out and puke and they'll send me home. Ha... LOL

11 hours today. Why me, on why me? Atleast I don't get salary or I'd really be pissed.
