Today I turn 31. I've been without Internet access at work for the last three days and have felt somewhat cut-off from the world.
I didn't get to cook saveme a meal since she wasn't able to make it over. I did however enjoy garlic shrimp all by my onesies. (it was tasty, not as good as Dali, but still... very good) It made me sad she couldn't come over. We've re-scheduled.
Dr Stephanie thanked me for the cactus (and told me I didn't need to do that) (it isn't a matter of need or expectation, it is a matter of wanting to do such things- feel free to read my impassionedly similar comments in Hopeless Romantics if you like)
I got Tequila for my birthday
I got a new candle votive set for my birthday
I got Guitar Hero II for my birthday
One of by best friends ever is coming to visit (and I will not kill him for being perfect)
I'm off to eat endless skewers of meat and toast caparhinas.
