Well it's Saturday night and I watched the Flyers blow a great game to lose in overtime (shootout). I have moved right from Baseball to Hockey - and have plans to go out and watch the T.O. Bowl tomorrow ...
Work sucks - my boss is going out of the office for 4-6 weeks or more for surgery and he has not said what it is ... he was out last year for 3+ months ... and on top of it, my fellow patent atty announced that she is leaving in a couple of weeks to move across the country (Seattle area) leaving everything for my attention ... all the work and responsibility and none of the authority to do it right ... I'll get thru it w/ a greta staff but life is going to be hell for a while
Otherwise things are generally ok - I am driving a new car and loving finding winding roads when I can - it has been a great escape as I head home each night ... it'll pass as being exciting and once the weather gets bad, I'll be complaining but for now - zoom zoom

then i walked past bugs' stand and saw these gorgeous fractured deco style images with a couple of Canna Lillies amongst them, and i knew that I'd found what i was looking for.
Then I realised that the girl that he was working on was one of my friends too.
So i've booked with him for next year.
it'll be well worth the wait.
