Hmmmmm - what is my secret to being happy in the military??? I love my job because I am posted on a great base (It is an AIr Force Base - for an Army person, this is a sweet posting). Don't be fooled by me though - I do have my bad days. About 4 months ago we had a jet crash here and I was one of the Medics working that day. I almost quite because I am from such a small base that I know each and every soldier very well.

I guesse it all comes down to the reasons for doing the jobs that we do. I love helping people (and shooting my rifle).

Well I hope for you that you don't have to go I don't like seeing people have to go over there, but if it is better than where you are at right now then I guesse it is for the best. I actually wanna go over seas but I am not deployable because there is a HUGE shortage of medics here right now and because I am on a NATO base, they can't spare me. Either way - I hope that you are safe
