Yesterday was one of the best days I've had in a long time (besides Bento which is the highlight of my month). It kinda started out Friday when I downloaded Splinter Cell CT on my cell phone...I'm now hooked..played it for a while then went to bed. Woke up, went to work at 2 am got off at 1 pm went home and played splinter cell for a while (due to the lack of anything else to do...all were asleep but me) then mid mission Deathlok called and *bing* day got great real fast. We went looking for Kenwood dealers and ended up at stopping by this movie/cd/video game exchange place which was pretty cool except for the guy who farted in the back corner and cleared it in 10 seconds flat..Death looked at me and said "did you do that" to which I replied "If I did I would have claimed it". then we went to Tumbleweed for dinner...good steak...its been a while since I've had a nice porterhouse mmmmmm steak....but we did get to drive through the kick ass storm yesterday...which BTW was cool as fuck..
It started when we were on 270 just north of rt 3 total charcoal grey skys (I was looking for tornados...none were present) by the time we got to the cleveland ave. exit you really couldnt see much due to the rain pounding down on the winshield... at this time I told Death it would be a good time to open the sun roof...he did not agree so we didnt.....by the time we got to 71 270 was flooding...by the time we got to the bottom of the hill above 315 traffic had stopped due to the six inches of water all across the road...then it petered off.
We did have one question. People were pulling off to the side of the road all the way up 270 and 90% of them were SUVs. Now whats the fucking point in paying big $$$$ for a vehicle that can go almost anywhere when you have to stop in a little rain. cuz you're a pussy thats why. SUV tires have deep grooves for traction and water moves freely through theese grooves allowing the rubber to stay on the road...just incase they didnt know
