I have an interview at a another store tomorrow. Same job different store.
Pros of new store: Upper Arlington..not ghetto
no one will do a hit and run on my car cuz old folks dont do donuts in the parking lot
Higher volume store (more sales)
10 cent pay raise - big fucking deal
I know most of the department heads there cuz i trained with them
i worked at that store for 7 months a few years ago and it rocks
cons No forklift
higher volume but smaller store
I wont be top on seniority so i might not get some of my vacation dates i wanted
possibly harder to run
Pros of my store 85000 sqr feet is a big ass store which means i have plenty of room for displays
i have fork lifts which makes my job easier...and funner
i like the people i work with and most of the respect me already
i have my own office
cons of my store one of my assistants is an asshole and i want to kill him
its in the ghetto
thats about it...hmmm less cons for the store I'm in. I'll have it pretty good at either store so I'm not sure....I'm torn i hate the fucking ghetto and i love working in the higher dollar areas...thats where i was trained....not sure...we'll just see what happens.
The big shitter is I talked to the old Head Grocery there (he got promoted ) and he said I was the only head grocery that signed for that store...i figured everybody and his brother would sign for it and i wouldnt really have a shot at it but only 4 people did....damn this company is going down the tubes....no one wants to do the job anymore. The manager there doesnt do shit they just parked him there because hes had 3 brain surgeries and needs a place to wait out retirement, so all i have to deal with are associate managers and i make more than they do anyways...oh...another pro for UA I could probably get away with working 48 hours which means an extra $200 per week...my dick head manager cut out the over time....I only make my good money working over time...oh well enough ranting..
