I came across this book at work tonight... I could preface all of this by saying I find dating books in general offensive... they're condescending, snotty and almost always written in that "cutesy," bullshit humour style.
But this book is, I think, even worse. It has things like ...what to do if he or his parents worry that your dating him for his money only, and a yiddish-to-english section... and my favourite, what to expect during the first shtup (yes, it used the word shtup)...
If someone had tried to write "Yo Ho!: A White Girl's Guide to Dating a Brotha"... with an ebonics-to-english translator and what to do if she's only dating you for your rims... it never would've been ok, so why is this shit fine?
Perhaps I'm hypersensitive to things...
Anyway...
I have a greek and a philosophy test tomorrow. I'm rather terrified about the philosophy test, because our professor has this psycho tangent thing and just goes all over the place... the greek test... well, it's greek... *shrugs*
I'm going to Columbus this weekend with punkydoll and punknitemike to see redviolet and everyone else.
And Columbus again next weekend for Atmosphere and p.o.s
