Because everyone else is doing this and because my life sucks and I hate everything about it and never do anything but go to class, work, derby practice or sleep...
Seven things I want to do before I die:
1) Get a master's and/or PhD (political science? library science? who knows...)
2) See Africa/the Middle East/the rest of Europe
3) Live outside the US
4) Have a few halflings of my very own
5) Learn to cook decently.
6) Take a cross-country road trip.
7) Play guitar. Damnit.
Seven things I can not do:
1) Crossovers. YET
2) Turn down sex (and I mean that in a non-whorey way).
3) Follow my brain over my heart.
4) Eat lima beans.
5) Call people back.
6) Spend less than 20 minutes in the shower.
7) As of late, get a good night's sleep.
Seven things that attracted me to Ohio:
1) I had no choice in the matter.
2) My parents were born here and never left.
3) I don't much like it.
4) Cincinnati is a big filthy city and is near by. I like big filthy cities.
5) I like my roller derby league. It makes me consider staying.
6) I like my friends. They make me consider staying sometimes.
7) Um... the leaves are pretty in the fall?
Seven things I say most often:
1) I'm going to eat your face
2) Fuck
3) God damnit
4) Excellent
5) Indeed
6) I hate you
7) My feet are cold
Seven books (or series) that I love:
1) Harry Potter
2) Anne McCaffrey's Harper Hall trilogy
3) The Color Purple
4) Fahrenheit 451
5) Any Toni Morrison
6) I'm loving both Rebecca Walker books I'm reading currently.
7) A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide (depressing, but good and informative.)
Seven movies I watch over and over again (or would if I had the time and a longer attention span):
1) Super Troopers
2) Aliens
3) Out Cold
4) The Believer
5) Sin City
6) Seed of Chucky (I like numerous other bad movies, this has just been my favourite for the last couple weeks)
7) 28 Days Later ... or Van Wilder
