i have returned from vacation. 
i had a great time. didn't get the sleeves worked on, but got a new tattoo on my right hand. (yes, i have lost my mind.) its a skull & crossbones with a flower done in white. it should be interesting to see what it looks like when it heals. right now, it looks like a brand with the swelling and redness.
