Happy New Year! Last year was pretty fantastic... I got my pottery studio up and going and I finally started making some $ selling my pottery. I celebrated 14 years with the hubby and my kids went from children to young adults with the exception of my youngest who is 8. My oldest got his tattoo license so I got a few new tattoos.

Some...

So our annual pilgrimage to Dallas for the North Texas Irish Festival is over... Lots of good music, family fun and food... and then more food... grilled, roasted and fried food... we ate until we were full... then ate again. Needless to say, we were diet free for the weekend and we took full advantage of it. Did you know that in Texas they fry...

Glad you had a a great time. I have to agree with you. I also have a weakness for food at fairs, carnivals, and conventions. I am not sure it is due to the fact that I used to be a fat kid and still love deep down or if it is just simply because they have such neat, and creative things to eat that you normally wouldn't encounter. I live in West Virginia, which some people consider the South. Myself, I think of of it as more Southeast. Anyhow, due to the southern location we know all about deep fried pickles. Tons of restaurants sell them around here as appetizers and let me tell you, every chance I get I buy some. They are really good with ranch dressing. So is deep fried zucchinni. As for the snickers bar, I can honestly say that I have never heard of that one. I love Snickers and I am sure it was quite delicious. Although, I must admit I am extremely disappointed with the new Snickers Peanut Butter candy bar. You basically pay $0.50 for two bites of chocolate that tastes no different than a regular Snickers bar. Trust me, I would know if it tasted like peanut butter in any fashion. I am a peanut butter fanatic. I love anything made by Reese's or even a Peanut Butter Twix, which are quite hard to find in West Virginia. The Snickers Peanut Butter to me though, tastes no different than the original. It just had a different wrapper. It greatly saddened me! frown I hope all is well with you and your family!

Sadly, I have neglected my SG blog and friends... I have been working... at my job, on my marriage and my ginormous ass... 4 days a week after work, the husband and I take the children to the gym... after 40 minutes of working out we check the kids out of the kiddie area and then we swim for an hour. Between that and the...

This holter monitor is driving me bat shit crazy... all the little electrodes itch and the wires are cumbersome. I don't know how they expect me to sleep in this shit. Grrr... at least I get rid of it tomorrow at 2pm, any longer and I think I will snap.

I did go to the gym today... I haven't been in a week because my...

So my dear heart comes home for lunch and we have a good old fashioned afternoon delight... As I am replacing my pants I get a charley horse in my upper inner thigh. If you have never experienced this before you are lucky because it hurts like hell... the pain eventually ebbs and I am able to limp around and get on with my day....

Can you buy Potassium supplements like at a health food store or GNC? Hmmmmm.....Web-md where are you? I hear the theme from Scooby Doo echoing in my head for some reason now? *giggles* Maybe I need vitamins? OR Something for schizophrenia perhaps? Just kidding. *giggles* Just trying to make you laugh. I hope it worked. I am such a dork. I can't help it. Wait! I know a joke. Second chance here.

Q: What do you call a fly without wings?
A: A Walk.

Did that make you laugh? I hope so. Anyhow. That was my efforts. I hope it wasn't an epic fail. Good luck with the charley horses. Due to my disability I have spasticity and charley horses almost daily and very frequently. So I know how painful they can be. frown Luckily though I have muscle relaxers. Very strong ones. smile

So every 6 months or so we meet my in-laws on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border in my hubby's hometown. I love going and visiting my hubby's crazy extended family which always makes me feel a little better about my own deviant relations. I also love that there is every kind of Asian food in this town... Yes, I know I said it was on the Arkansas/Oklahoma...

I think it just depends on WHERE in Arkansas... I have been or lived all over this country and the best Thai food ever is in NW Arkansas at a little Thai place that only seats about 25 people... This place last weekend? A close second in my opinion.

@Charissa... good to hear. I hate when people I like have to deal with assholes.

the small little hole in the wall places are the best, especially if they have a line to get in
