Well I plead innocent, because I believe I am. Now I must appear for a pre-trial hearing on Febuary 14th. This raises several issues:
1. Febuary 14th is over 5 months away, and this is just a pre-trial hearing (hopefully such a simple matter can be settled there). Considering when I actually got the ticket, it's going to be 6 months to resolve the issue of whether I stopped at a stop sign.
2. I go to court on 09/11, then again on Valentine's day?? This whole ordeal continues to reek of some devious plot against me.
Maybe if I can continue to drag things out long enough I'll finish culinary school and be off to Japan. Take that bureaucracy!
