So I claimed I would post an actual blog type blog so here goes:
My life seems to be a bit in flux at the moment. I think I'm going through an early mid-life crisis. I'm not certain who I am or what I want to do on a go-forward basis. I have taken the last month off from photography, and though it brought my stress level down in some ways it took away something I really enjoy doing. I'm coming closer and closer to that time when my day job is going to cause me to claw my eyes out.
However, I'm ready to start turning myself around a bit, dive back into my photo work and perhaps try and find a way for me to make a living that doesn't leave me bitter and miserable every night when I get home.
Anyway, enough of a downer from me. Here's some of the stuff I did in August (the last time I was shooting):
They guys in Only Thunder invited me out to shoot at he Marquis Theater.. These guys are really cool and I dig what they are doing. You should definitely check them out, tell them I sent ya'. Click on Only Thunder guitarist Pedro for more photos:
Then went out and shot The Denver Roller Dolls (Take note at the head shots at the top of the web page those are mine as well). This may have been my last gig as a semi-official photographer for them. Special thanks to DanielK and Angeluca for making me a part of the team on this project. Click the photo of announcer Dumptruck and his number one fan to see more photos:
Finally, I had the pleasure of shooting the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World The Supersuckers along with Sun Trash and http://www.myspace.com/thesobsdenver [/URL" target="_blank">. What a great show! This was the first time I really had to work a crowd to get my shots. The floor was packed by the time the 'Suckers went on. Click either the photo of Eddie from the Supersuckers or The Captain from Sun Trash to check out more photos:
Well, that pretty much sums it up.
Talk to you kids soon.
