man, what a motherfucker of a week... i mean that in good and bad ways.
as many of you may already know, ramby and i are in the process of separating. this is a mutual agreement and a good thing for both of us. the day to day bullshit of being in a relationship has made us both misserable. the amazing thing is that we've spent some time together this week as friends and it's fucking great. we have fun and can relate to eachother positively. so those of you who are friends with us don't have to worry that either of us will dissappear or that you need to work out a visitation schedule.
been a busy weekend. the usual work 'till midnight bull shit on friday. last night went and saw Under the Drone, Atomic Bitchwax, Machine Gun Blues, and The BellRays. Holy shit this was a rockin' good show. Didn't catch much of Under the Drone. Bitchwax was solid in spite of technical difficulties (Thanks to sKoTt for comming out, great to see you as always). Machine Gun Blues are good, but not great. However, the asskicker of the evening was The BellRays. If you could imagine The Stooges or the MC5 with the addition of Ike & Tina Turner you might be able to envision this band. Unfortuneately the song downloads on their web site are currently down. However, if they are playing in your town just go. Don't ask yourself if you should, just fucking do it. Just live motherfuckers.
Got out of that show around 2am and had to be to work by 6am. Now the great thing about going to bed at 2:30 and waking up at 5:30 is that, if you're worried that you will over sleep you never actually get any good sleep so i'm working on half past retarded right now.
But on the positive side Megze and DanielK invited me to assist on Meg's shoot with Angeluca. I had a great time and learned alot. Thanks for being patient with my spacey ass.
Ok kids, I'm dog assed tired and need to go pass out.

I went crazy at the Bellrays show, I taking pictures, and dancing like a manic. At work at six- you I both know it was well worth it. If its any comfort to you I was digging post holes at eight that next morning myself. I talked to half the Bellrays before the show, I had never heard them, but had fallen in love with them reading about them in the underground press. I had mythologized them, and was afraid they wouldn't be able to deliver anything that could match my imagination, but the Bellrays totally lived up to the hype!!! VIVA LA BELLRAYS

well, at what point as a photographer, do you say this is enough.
