So I’ve been on this site for a while, and I’m gonna share some thoughts from my brain hole.
I started my subscription because of all the beautiful set samples I’d see on instagram every day. I’m sure that’s what was intended, but I don’t mind being marketed something I’d like.
When I got here, I initially struggled with finding sets, until I realized this was more akin to an old school (read, mid 2009’s) forum, and it finally occurred to me that I could reach out and actually speak to the massively talented women who created these sets.
I lept at the chance, making as many comments as I could. I wanted to be careful though. I didn’t want to be lost among a sea of creeps shouting how hot the models were, and I’m engaged, so it seemed inappropriate anyway. I feel like the models know they’re hot anyway.
So, I focused on trying to compliment the artwork the models and photographers worked so hard to make. I hoped I’d get at least some kind of response, though I worried about being lost in the cacophony of the internet anyway.
What? I like attention, so sue me.
To my happy surprise, lo and behold there were responses! I’d get likes on my comments and posts, replied and even messages.
I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate it until I got it.
I was touched that these skilled, talented people would take time from their day to send even a small thanks or acknowledgement.
I’m sure sometimes such things are to increase viewership, but I don’t mind, its a kindness on their part anyway, and why shouldn’t they want (and deserve) more viewership?
So, I’m here to stay, and I can’t wait to meet and talk to more people along the way!
So, those are my thoughts. Several paragraphs that amounts to, ‘I like this site a bunch’ but there it is.
Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
