It's some time ago that i've really been around...
Holiday is over and it feels like it never happened
I'm really busy working on my research...reading a lot and sorting out a way to use all the information in the right way
Which gives me a reason to drop by more often, as Suicidegirls is one of my casestudies...
But all this reading gives me so much inspiration for about a 100 other researches So i can keep myself busy...
Next to that i'm also working for the netporn conference which will be held in a couple of weeks... It's a academic conference about the art & politcs of internetpornography and deals with things like censorshop, using pornography to build ones identity (this is quite so with 'alternative' sexualites, queers, transgender, sm-lovers...to name some stereotypes
) I'm really looking forward to it, meeting people and talking about the stuff that really interests me

Rosi Braidotti - Metamorphoses
essay by rosi braidotti, quite 'intellectual' but very interesting!
But it's back to work for me!

Not that my job isnt fun but porn.........is porn.
Hope you managed to get some relaxing done over the weekend and not all netporn preparation! (I checked out the institute for network cultures website this morning- )
So- brisk walks and weeding at the weekend for me, as well as chile con carne with friends. Mr Merlot also came to visit
(He didn't stay long though...........)
