I went climbing for the first time in 5 months (week of xmas was the last time) on Friday night. It felt soo good to be back on a wall. I took it easy but did alright considering it had been so long.
And then on Saturday, I did a 30 mile bike ride. Took a snack and sun break near my turn around point at Gasworks Park with a view across the water of Seattle and the Space Needle (out of frame to the left in that pic). It was a beautiful, dry, and sunny day out and the park was crowded, but it was a nice break. It's kind of fun to go to a park and see a bunch of kites being flown.
With those 2 activities combined, I am sore everywhere in my body. Legs, hips, feet, stomach (oh boy, it hurts to laugh), sides and front of my upper chest, shoulders, forearms... I haven't been this sore in a long time. But it feels really good.
But the topper of yesterday, that made the whole entire day just fantastic, is that Hydrophilic called me up offering me a ticket that had freed up to go see 25th Hour last night at Seattle International Film Festival. SIFF was doing a tribute to Edward Norton by playing 3 of his movies: Fight Club, American History X, and 25th Hour. Turns out, Edward Norton came to town to present all 3 of the movies during their showings this Friday and Saturday. I sat maybe 30 feet away from Edward Norton as he spoke about the film and Spike Lee for about 10 minutes. It was holy shit awesome!
Hydro is by far my favorite person today cause he's just plain ol' awesome. Now I'm off to grab dinner with him

Fried Avocado in chickpea batter is brilliant. So yummy.
This whole weekend has been great. Today I got to sleep in, eat good food with good company (even if the staff is weird), Hydro introduced me to Dr. Who, which I will have to get around to watching in about a year... after finish massage school because I bloody won't have the time for it while going to school, studying/practicing massage for school, working, biking, occasionally climbing, and somehow managing a bit of a social life, but I definitely want to see more when I have the time. But yes, this weekend has been the best weekend I've had in quite a while. I've been in such a good mood today that I felt like I was radiating happiness half the day. It's pretty good stuff, ya know?

Hey kiddo! Yeah I'm good thanks. Got a gifted subscription so thought I'd have a nose around for old times sake. Wow, you're still a member, you must have seen so many boobs in your lifetime, I envy that. Wonder what my girlfriend would make of this site, she doesnt know about my previous stint here. It was part of me for a while though and I met loads of good people - you included! x
