I think I might go to massage school.
My mom has been telling me I should since I was around 14, but something about being a guinea pig for a massage student yesterday and seeing a little bit of what massage school would be like, I think I might actually take my mom's suggestion seriously. I've been told by a lot of people that I'm good at it and have a good touch, and it's been in the back of my mind for years as a possibility (I even chose learning massage as my subject for a big project we has to do Senior year of HS). Not to mention it would be awfully useful and convenient to do massage school, then make my own schedule as a therapist while I go to school for Midwifery and then just combine them and/or massage between births.

i've considered it for my self off and on for years. It is a good additional source of income and knowledge for a dancer. It also sounds like a great combination with Midwifery. Ultimately, i really just want the knowledge and not so much the profession. So i pick up bits of info and technique here and there from friends who do go thru school and books. I do love getting to be a guinea pig, which is also great for a dancer of limited means.
So if you do go to school i volunteer.
