My body hurts.
I have five large bruises on my right leg, 2 on each side of my lower thigh and 1 on my upper calf. How? I put my leg through an old, unreinforced, plywood "deck" (small 4x4ft-ish deck of sorts in front of a shed in someone's backyard with about 3ft of empty space below it) after jumping down nearly 5ft from the tree house built on top of said shed. It was awesome My left leg had to take on the unexpected extra weight (since my other leg just decided to break through a board and squeeze itself between the others) which caused it to feel weak and shaky for a few hours afterward. Walking sucks. Left thigh feels sore as if it worked out a bunch and the bruised on my right leg get jostled around with the movement. The only upside is that I love watching bruised change colors over time, and these are gonna look gorgeous in a day or two... they're already looking awfully pretty after only 30 hours.
My top vertebrae in my neck is pretty much always out of place and I feel it on the left side. I've been to the chiropractor 3 times in that many weeks and the damn thing is stubborn and won't stay in place. It's awfully uncomfortable at times. I have another appointment next Thursday.
My lymph node or whatever the fuck it is (none of the doctors I've been to seem to know exactly what it is or why it won't go away) decided to act up tonight towards the end of a concert/show. As it is located in my lower abdomen on the left near where it meets my leg, I ended up driving home hunched over the steering wheel groaning "fucker" every few minutes. I got straight in the bath with I got home in hoped of relieving it a bit, which helped.
Good stuff:
I saw We Were Promised Jetpacks tonight and they were amazing So good, I was really impressed. The singer broke a sting at the end of the first song, switched to a borrowed guitar, broke the same string on that one not even a minute into the 2nd song, but managed to not break any strings on the 3rd guitar. They sounded incredible and just as good, if not better, than they do on their album.
As much as I would just rather sleep tomorrow since I don't work until 4pm, I'm getting a free massage in the morning. My friend is finishing up her massage therapy course and tomorrow is their last day. They need to practice, so the student have to invited some friends to be their guinea pigs but they have to practice on someone they don't know. I'm still not sure how I feel about being massaged by a stranger. I know my neck could use it but I think I'm gonna have to make them avoid my right leg since the bruises are in the way so much. Either way, free massage
