A week later, my neck is yet again sore. This time I actually know why. Whiplash from falling about 9 feet is no fun. Rockclimbing is killing me, but I still love it. I've been working on a particular bouldering route (no ropes) for 6 days now. I'm making progress each time, but it's kicking my ass. On Friday evening, I decided to try it one last time before leaving and fell, landed on my feet (on padded floors plus landing mat), crouched down with my hands down as well like usual, but this time my head went forward too far too fast and I heard/felt a crack. Right away it felt a little sore but not too bad. I went with some other regular climbers to celebrate one of the guys' birthday and looking down, even at the slightest angle, felt like my neck muscles were straining to hold my head up. I was totally expecting my neck to be horribly sore and stiff today, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Still pretty sore, but at least it's just the muscles and not my spine!
My birthday is in just under a month
Tonight, I hung out with a friend I hadn't seen since the evening I got back from Europe on July 3rd. I missed hanging out with him so much. I've been trying to hang out with him for months but he's so busy and every time we started making plans, they fell through. I got to meet his lady friend who is pretty great and it's kind of ridiculous how much we have in common right off the bat. We both grew up in Arizona (me Phoenix, her Scottsdale), we both nanny, we're the same height, and we both pick up accents from men we know from West Virginia (my dad, her best friend, mine probably comes a LOT easier and stronger than hers though). We went out for dinner along with their roomie (a guy) and as the boys talked nerd talk, me and his gf decided we should hang out since we get along so well and I can hope that maybe the boy will be around too so that I can see him more often
Alright, time to sleep and rest the neck

Haha! At least that solves the mystery of the account fairy. That is odd.....you think that SG is trying to bring back more people? Maybe get them sucked back into the SG life?

I agree. I remember ALL the way back to when we first started talking. That was when I was still into the supernatural aspects of life. Not sure what happened with that.
