I leave in 17 days
It's going pretty fast. I only have 2 weeks left of work, my last day being the 3rd or 4th. I have to figure out seeing friends one last time before I leave to be surrounded by strangers for 12 weeks. I'm basically kissing sleeping in and being lazy goodbye for 3 months. I'm going to miss sleeping in, but I could do without the laziness... it's no good for me. I realized a few hours ago how much my feet are really going to kill me during my trip. They are so not used to being stood on or walked on all day... At work, I walk into someone's house, slip off my flip-flops and don't do a whole lot of standing or walking all day. They are shoeless and comfortable for the majority of the day in my everyday life. Boy, this is going to be a big transition for me. I'm definitely looking forward to the change... just not the foot pain
I'm already scheming up ideas for my next big trip. I'm thinking of either doing more of Europe (Iceland, Sweden, Spain, Greece for sure and possibly Portugal and some of the other northern countries like Norway and Finland) Summer/Fall '09, or Australia and New Zealand Fall/Winter '09.
I'm slowly working my way towards possibly becoming vegetarian. I cut out red meat the other week, I stopped eating pig years ago, and I don't eat fish, so the only meat I eat now is chicken and turkey. I'm not ready to give up chicken yet I'm not sure I ever will fully give up chicken, but we'll see...
Happy Easter

As for your comment about future trips, I highly recommend a visit to Sweden! Let me know if you would like to chat about it sometime.
