Hello to you. I'm new here, hope you don't mind if I start documenting the banalities of my current existence. Hate to start on a downer but it's been a rough month. My grandfather died, my car died, and my best friend's mom is about to die. Each of these events is a mini-series unto itself, and I realize paraphrasing them might seem trivial, so I'll just leave things as is.

Anyway, as this journal entry is my first, it defaults to being the springboard to everything I write from here on out. They won't all be so grim. Promise.
