Well I flew out of Charlotte on Tuesday via Jet Blue. The flight to JFK was uneventful. I was very surprised to see all of the changes in Terminal 5. The last time I was there, there was nothing there. Now there are 5 sit down restaurants, a food court, a shopping mall & a spa. 
My shuttle didn't meet me at Logan so I had to call the driver to let him know I was there. The ride to Marblehead was uneventful. I went to my dentist's house & settled in & went to my favorite bar for lunch. The drinks & the view were great. But the swordfish was dry.
I walked around town for a bit & had chicken for dinner with my hosts.
Wednesday was the day of pain. We started off at 10am with a root canal that lasted 4 hours. The dentist put 5 needles of Novocaine into my tooth but I was still screaming at him. The pain was really sharp & intense.
After that nightmare was over we went to a local bar for lunch. About half an hour after we got back to his house we went back downstairs for round two. This time the right side of my mouth got attention from the drill. I had thought that I was having two fillings redone, but instead I found that both teeth were shaved down for temporary crowns. I have to return at the end of the month to have them fitted.
I almost missed boarding my flight yesterday from Logan to JFK. Fortunately the TSA was harassing a group of Arab guys at the gate & I got on the plane. We sat on the runway for half an hour before finally lifting off. When we got to JFK I went to the spa & had a 15 minute reflexology/back massage. The seats on the Jet Blue planes really suck. The flight from JFK to Charlotte sat on the runway for an hour before it took off.
I got home around 12:30am.

I hear you. But I had to go. My teeth were in bad shape. My dentist gave me a Braun electric toothbrush. Damn thing doesn't work.
