Well the hits just keep coming... My wife & I went out to get some Chinese food this evening. On the way home we had a tire blow out its sidewall. I pulled off the road to change it & discovered that I needed a special tool to remove one of the bolts. Unfortunately the VW dealership didn't see a need to provide me with this tool so I had to call AAA & wait 2.5 hours for a flat bed. 
It was 28* outside & my fingers were frozen stiff. Fortunately we were able to stay in the car with the engine running till the tow truck showed up.
It wasn't the way that I'd planned to spend my evening. I told my wife that it was time that we could use for bonding.
She wasn't amused. We both had lots of fluids at dinner & literally sprinted for the house. The poor puppy was ready to go off like a sprinkler as well.
