The hits just keep coming. I was out re-shooting some photos for a client & I stopped in to see my mother in law. She's been in an assisted care facility for 8 years. Apparently she had another stroke on Monday. The head of the nursing staff believes it was hemmoragic, which means that she's bleeding into her brain & her body is shutting down. Naturally my wife has been very upset. She's been calling her brothers & sisters to ask them if she's making the right decision to bring in Hospice. My mother in law was lying on her back with her head turned away from me. She didn't know I was there & I think that she wasn't altogether there herself. Over the past few months when she could still communicate, she would tell us about outings that she had gone on with family members who had passed away. I'm thinking that our family who have crossed over are trying to ease her crossing over.
So... my wife's sister & one of her sons are due in this afternoon. I'm vacuuming the rooms & working on a big project for a client. I'd like to think that this will all end well, but I think the most that I can hope for is that her Mom will go peacefully in her sleep.
