Well NYE has come & gone. Like most others the night was punctuated by the neighbors firing off fireworks. I spent a few hours on the phone with a good friend of mine in Alaska, as well as surfing the web & working. No champagne though, I still have the hacking cough from Thanksgiving.

I did go out & buy a nice bottle for the evening but we didn't wind up having any. Hopefully we can actually finish a bottle together. For her to have a single flute & leave the rest for me is a sure recipie for me passing out early & leaving her high & dry.

I think I went to bed around 3am & woke up around 1pm when the dog bounced into the room looking for a face to lick. Now here I sit busy at work & yet my mind is still drifting off to more other pleasurable pursuits.
