I feel so good I had a weekend that just recharged me... As I have posted before I volunteer at Comic Cons well this was one of those weekends... Arrived on Friday and helped out some but the real work (kidding) started Saturday... I was suppose to help one of out guest celebs, but because of weather he was running late so they assigned me to a different celeb... Both were voice actors that do voices on an anime that my kids are into... Well the celeb and I bonded from the start as I help them set up by hanging up the all inclusive pride flag, and me sharing with him that I have a gay and a trans child... we talked about the shows that they voice... and in helping them I always have a quick wit and adding to lines from the scripted lines from the characters... which they used and said they are going to continue to use... So they signed a print for my trans child and then I called them and the actor the did a birthday greeting in character for my child... I also got 3 other prints signed from the other actors there that do voices on the same show... (needless to say I'm up for dad of the year)
And Monday it was back to school it felt so good to be back in the kitchen... there have been a lot of staffing changes but for the better... We did charcuterie boards and made ricotta... not bad for day one...
