Great news friends! My laptop was saved! The people that work at Apple are geniuses. Though the dude helping me was kind of a nerdy dick. Sorry I'm not technologically competent!
In other news, this is my last week of school before I graduate college. Friday my commencement ceremony is going to be held in the historic Castro Theater, which will be gorgeous! I'll be receiving my Bachelor's degree in Health Education with an emphasis in community health. I also minored in Holistic Health for shits and giggles. I mean if I can take courses that let me meditate and go on yoga field trips, why not minor in it? It definitely helped me deal with my anxiety and stress.
This is a strange bittersweet feeling being done with school, though I plan on going on to graduate school for some kind of sexuality and health studies program. Most of my friends have graduated and quite a few have moved away from SF. For now I plan on staying in the city while working and interning at Planned Parenthood. I feel the need to be able to say "I graduated college and I have this amazing job as a health educator at _________" but I need to be content taking it slow and enjoying not being locked into a career yet. The only thing I'm worried about is not having financial aid to help me pay rent. Rent in SF is out of control expensive, so looking for an affordable place in August will be interesting.
I'll stop that life rant now.
I just got some pictures I took for grad announcements back from my friend. Here are a few fun ones!
