The camping trip was this weekend. I forgot a bunch of shit like paper towels and condiments, but aside from that it was a really great trip. Zach and Devers and I got going about noon and we were in Roanoke by about 3. Sam and I went to get groceries and then we were all done buying shit and gassing up by about 5:30 I think. We got out to the campsite and set everything up. I got ground beef grease all over my hands and had trouble cleaning them off since I forgot to bring paper towels. Then we just sat around and did nothin that night.
Samantha had decided that she wanted to climb the mountain on Saturday, so she took Zach and Devers up the mountain while I stayed with the fire. I might have gone if she had warned me that she was going to want to do that. But since she hadn't said anything I couldn't go because I didn't bring anything for my feet except flip flops. After they came back nobody did much. Zach and I had gone swimming before they went and Devers and I went swimming after they climbed the mountain. The water was freezing too. I couldn't speak if I was in over my boobs. I just chattered. But it was nice to be in the water. We saw a couple snakes and some toads. I got a bit of a tan. We played with fire.
It was an awesome trip. Zach and Devers are a lot of fun to hang out with. And the next one can only get better because next time I'll remember all the stuff I forgot last time and we'll all think to bring games or something so we don't do nothing but stare at the fire for hours and hours.
I was really bad though. I ate a bunch of junk food and since we were in Roanoke, I had to get Hardees. And then tonight I can't go to the gym because my sweats are massively dirty from the camping trip. I have a lot of cleaning to do, and I'll have some alone time to do it because tonight John and Bill are going to get the bed in Germantown. So I'll have a bed tonight.
Then Friday is Eastcoast Boogiemen at Nation. I need to send Jennie a message and see if she's free that night...

Oh, by the way, for some reason, the protocol on this site is that when somebody writes you something in your journal comments, you write your reply in theirs. I know that seems kind of counter-intuitive, but I figured I'm let you know since I see the little conversation you had above.
Anyway, I'm glad you guys filled out your group, and I hope your adventures are as gloriously exciting as those of Kalai'kai, the wood elf sorceress I used to play.
