I gotta rant here. I really hate it when there's anything I do in life, or anyone else does in life and I see non-constructive criticism of it. This doesn't solely lie on the arts or anything of that sort... Its anything, how the fence is being built, where you're hanging a picture or putting a piece of furniture, how a person's running the country, the placement of a puzzle piece. It doesn't matter. If you're gonna disagree or say that something isn't going as well as you think, put a reason behind it.
(you may want to skip the next bit as it's just selfish ranting....)
...yes, this stemmed from something personal to me, and that's selfish. I don't freaking care. I just did a mini, spontaneous photoshoot with a friend in the middle of the night (literally, 1am-4am)... Maybe I wasn't fully prepared for it with a tripod and proper lighting. Maybe I was a little tired. That give this person no right to say that my photography sucks. It also is just uncalled for for them to insult me by asking if I "even know what a tripod is?" I hate people like that. "This photograph has entirely improper lighting." Actually... the one in question has an interesting set of lighting where you can see clearly just about everything in the picture. Fuck off, okay?
In any case, if you're gonna bitch about someone... back up your words a little bit, okay? Tell me why my photography was off here and there... There was probably a good reason behind it. If you don't like my drawings, tell me what they're lacking if you're going to criticize. If you can't tell me, shut your mouth about it. If you don't like the president (and I don't either) tell me why. Don't say "Bush sucks." My reply is always, "yeah... but clean shaven isn't always great either, I kinda prefer a little inbetween." You get the point. Think before you speak, kiddies. Sometimes you might sound stupid, no matter how much of a shock that is.
...peace.
