YEeeaahhh!! Im back. L.A. was too much fun, made it there in 32 hrs,only stopping for food and gas with a Harley strapped into the back of the pick-up. Went to a corner bar on Thursday night,seeing as i was about 12 hrs early,decided to take it easy as opposed to goin into Hollywood. No sleep and an empty stomach will make for a very drunk Timm. GOOD TIMES.I dont remember gettin back or how i ended up undressed,WHO CARES,REALLY?Woke up to L.A. moment # 1,CAR chase on tv.Out in L.A., people generally drop everything to watch this crap.Very shortly after watching this(when in ROME....) i walked out onto the deck for moment # 2, slightly hazy,but bkue skies as i realize the view from my friends yard is citrus trees(hanging in from the neighbors yard) and a phenominal mountain view backdrop,it was actually breath- taking.My boy is a composer for movie and TV soundtracks and he had a deadline to meet so i just relaxed till evening.THat night we went to the KNITTING FACTORY for the S.G. BULESQUE show. It was sold out which leads to L.A. #3,I got the privelege of greasing the palm of one of the door men. $120.00 gets 6 in the back door.Very kick ass!!I wont give any of the show away, but the RESERVOIR DOGS routine was inspiring. So,i walk in and no more than 2 minutes after i get there, i see my #5 favorite S.G., ARIES, im thinking this should be a great night. Afetr a few cocktails , i went up to introduce myself and either she was drunk,could really care less, or thought i was a perv,stalker,tourist,dork.Maybe a mix of all the above.It just ended up kinda awkward,so i waked away. AS for now ill leave her at #5,but she may get bumped.The show was great, but short.WEnt down the strip to aplace i cant remember the name of( a non touristy stop with cheap/stiff drinks) near close we walked to get a slice of pizza.As i couldnt wait i got a hot dog some guy was grilling from the back of his van.VERY TASTY INDEED!! made it home with no problems,talked shop,art &music, for a while, and went to sleep. I will continue my tale in another installment on FRI, i got things i gotta get done.
