there is a good chance my credit score will be shitty because of unwise decisions i have been making recently.

Sometimes it's not even you. I have dumper credit thanks to a misfiled hospital bill.

I wouldn't know the first thing about correcting bad credit, short of filing for bankruptcy. I can't even spell it.
