Ok Mission accomplished, perhaps with little communication, but I am reporting back a Labor Day 2,000+ estimated Bands Across America show.
I have been super busy, but this is how I did it.
We have a city center called the Old City and our Labor Day is accompanied with fireworks; it is a major event.
So my band put on a show in one of the street corners. Now everyone passing was not subject to the propaganda but some stayed and it was a successful event.
Do you want anything? Keep up the coolnessthanks.
If you would like a free Gmail account (Google e-mail), be one of the first five of my friends to visit my journal and say so. I have five invites to spare.
I don't know whether Cross Street Station has reopened or not. It was open when I started college there in '92, but it closed a few years later. It was a very popular place, though--video games and lots of local bands.
Sadly, I haven't had a drink for about a year-and-a-half. I really haven't had any reason to celebrate. Thanks a lot, George W. Son-of-a-Bitch and his miserable job economy!
That may soon change, though. A Smirnoff Ice sounds really good about now. . . . (But it's not on my diet. . .I gained thirty to forty pounds on my mom's home cookin'! )
