well me and my wife just got back today from seeing detroit red wings and nashville predators hockey game in nashville last night.we went down yesterday with another couple and went to a bar before game to get something to eat and get a few pre game drinks in us 
then at the game which was great (red wings won 6-3)the other couples guy is origionally from detroit and a true hockey and red wing fan so we were backing him up.myself and the other couple had went before which was before i met and married my lovely wife so this was her first game live.there were quite a few red wing fans there but we were obviously out numbered by the home standing predator fans.my friend was really being loud and kinda harrassing the predator fans which we were surrounded by but we survived.after game i was a little tired and my back was starting to bother me so i headed back to the room while my wife and my friends went back to the bars for a little while to celebrate a little more.the walk back was brutal about 10 to 12 blocks most of which was uphill plus i kinda lost my bearings at one point due to darkness and a nice buzz which made it about 3 to 4 blocks of extra walking but finally made it back. then the others came to the realization that they needed to come back to about a half hour later.so back at room we drank a little more and had the inevitable munchie meal pizza and tried to call it a night around 130 am.as it turned out none of us got a real good nights sleep so when we woke up this morning we were all ready to just get back home.not sure what my friends did when they got back but as for me and the misses she went to bed and is still in bed and i took about an hour or 2 nap myself and now am just waiting for the tourney games to start again.but wouldnt change a thing about the trip though it was great....well maybe one thing at about 230 am my friends thought we were asleep so they decided to have some fun of there own (we were sharing double room)little did they know i was awake at the time but they were keeping it down (no pun intended )for the most part so i didnt mind .kinda wanted to do that myself but the misses made it pretty clear that that wasnt going to happen with us before we even got there 
but that is ok though we took care of that the night before and maybe again tonight i hope 
.but anyway we all had a great time and look forward to do it again sometime
