So, another grueling semester of Journalism School is behind me. The summer may yield internships or...nothing at all, but more time spent with the toddler, who turns two in August. Whoa.
My concentration in school is Print, but with the decline of that portion of the industry, and so close to graduating, I'm more than a little reluctant to stick with it. I have decided to switch from Print to Broadcast, and may apply for summer internships with a news radio station, or possibly a network TV station. This is going to push graduation back another year, but will probably open up a lot more doors to future employers. Here's hoping!
The pool opens in two weeks! Can't wait. More options for outdoor activities with Sydney is a good thing. She's tired of the sandbox, the zoo, and wagon walks around the 'hood. Or wait, maybe that's ME. Yup.

visara:
I hope you get an internship. I work in the advertising industry and would also prefer Broadcast. I am just a paper pusher though but I push paper for the Top Dog
