if i didn't have a job with insurance i would be in the same position as her. grrrrrrr!

As someone who is currently unemployed and unable to obtain health insurance on the "open-market" due to various "pre-existing conditions," this issue hits me right in the gut.

The current system is utterly inhumane. Period.
