Happy April Fool's! Were I to have a prank... if only.
Ok, so now Lent is over... although, I think I've gotten to the point that I'm over carbonated non alcoholic beverages in general, so I probably won't be going back, despite that I only gave it up for Lent. Haven't really gambled all that much lately either... which IS the source of my name on here, in case anyone was wondering. Bakuto is a Japanese word for Gambler. Well, for money anyhow, as I've recently made something of a major gamble, though money isn't the objective. Short term, I fell flat on my face... long term, who knows, it might turn around to my favor. What can I say, it's in my nature.
So, Happy Belated Easter to all. I was meaning to put this out on Friday, kind of a Good Friday thing, but alas, wasn't able to. Friday, I got my Nukibori (Japanese Backpiece with no border) worked on as the first of three all day sessions. I won't lie, right there to the sides of the lower back hurt... like a bitch. Hopefully, it'll be done before the end of the month. Having a three year break in between sessions has been murder on my soul.
Some interesting things that I've noticed in the last few days:
I've actually gotten to a point in which the band Silversun Pickups has grown on me. I know I know, it took me long enough. Whatever, moving on.
If you want to see an intriguing turn of events with someone that's a "clean freak" watch them drop a cigarette on the sidewalk.
Somehow, how is it that when I get pulled over by the cops, it's never while I'm blasting something like Jay Z or Bush... or Motley Crue... something like that? Why is it that every time I'm pulled over, it's while I'm blasting something like Lucky Star by Madonna... or Get Into The Groove? Yea, I also like 80s music, big whoop, you wanna fight about it?
I know I haven't done this in the 3+ years that I've been on here, but something that I came across was a set that hit member review on Friday by ThanatOZ that looked like it was a lot of fun to shoot, called Wala
It's had something like almost five hundred comments in the first few days... go show it some love and see if we can't get this girl to go pink, yea.
