Firstly, Happy Veteran's Day to everyone... and if you've served, then kudos to you. It's funny, I never actually went and got the free meals at restaurants or anything for Veteran's Day. I won't say it's because I don't want to take advantage or anything, more so, that I just really never got the chance.
Annnnnnnnnd in the spirit of the day, a photo of me in Afghanistan...

Haha, my call sign was Iceman... kid you not. I kept doing the teeth chomp thing but nobody ever got it.
Also, to blow off some steam today, I went to see Skyfall. Had to keep up with my Bond movies. Oddly, it's not at all what I'd expected. Not to say it wasn't good, as it was actually rather entertaining. Especially the scenes in the tower in Shanghai, I really liked the colors and cinematography that was going on there. I'd say more about it, but I don't want to spoil anything. They did kind of... I don't know, combine elements from the iconic Bonds and movie tones. If that makes any sense whatsoever. If you're a huge Bond fan and you've seen it, then you know what I mean. I feel as though they've somewhat abandoned the more recent formulas to make this one more classic Bond. Then again, this could be only my personal perception. Go out and see it for yourself. I endorse it... I, as a role model, endorse it.
And finally, yesterday, I was privy to having to wake up early to go to a kid's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. There was soooo many kids, which really had me on my toes as I'm not often fond of children... in addition to children, I'm not often fond of parents either. I'm definitely willing to disclose why, though I'm sure that if you've ever been in a public place, then you know why. However, at least they serve 20oz beers, but it took forever to get one, so getting blitzed was completely out of the question. Next up, is option B through Z, playing pranks on people for my sheer amusement to mask the fact that I'm incredibly uncomfortable, often lending people to the perceived notion that I'm a huge dick. Or, perhaps I just really like to pull pranks in general. Whatever the case, I chose to walk around the play area yelling "Preston? Preston? Daddy's getting worried... Where are you? Preston?" Haha, classic... although, then it kind of backfired and the place went into something called "Code: Adam" or something of that nature and they locked the place down. Thinking on my feet, as this was way more serious than I'd intended, I took out my phone, looked at it and tried to do my best tearless "tears of joy" face and said "Oh thank God, I just got a text... he's outside with my brother."
So yea, my last couple days in a nutshell.
P.S. Your tax dollars hard at work
