so.. it's wednesday and I need to move my truck to avoid a street sweeping ticket.
I think I'll take part of the afternoon off and visit Tower Grove Park.. theres a lot of downed trees to take pictures of.. the ground was so thouroughly soaked from a week of rain that some 75+ yr old trees came down.. mainly ginko trees.. really pretty. I don't know why simple things like this always strike me so.. perhaps it's the juxtaposition of the tree across the road in such a big city.. the rain knocked out the power to so many houses.. it humbles people to remember/realize just how dependent on our creature comforts we are.
The owner of the local coffee shop is Mo.. the shop is MoKaBe's.. she's a great friend.. I had to house ten gallons of milk and 50lbsof cheese and five pails of sourcream and mondo lunch meat in my fridge for a day after the power went out.. Gotta take care of our friends.. I guess that's enough blathering for now.. Time to pretend to work for a short while.
Keep on Truckin' !

I took a few internal work pics this afternoon after another boring meeting.. and I also took a few pics of my tattoos.. needless to say.. I need many more.. the one on the back of my neck needs much more company.. as I am a very big guy with large broad shoulders.. so the ink looks small.. but now that I have a pic.. I can take it and print it out and draw on it..
*free idea*
have someone take a digital photo of a blank area you want tattoo'd... print a copy of the pic out on regular paper.. make copies as necessary.. design your next tattoo on the paper.. take it to your local Ink artist.. give it to them to display your wishes for size and location.. let them have a little freedom.. it always turns out good.. remember to not get mad if they say your drawing is rough or even crap.. they will only say that to save you the pain of an ugly tat..
um..
end Captains supplemental log..
