Why does life have to keep throwing me curve balls. Just got home from the hospital. Dad is in for the third time in just over a week. Started last tuesday when he had to have an emergency appendectomy which is very rare for someone that is 70 years old. Then thursday we are back again because his leg was numb and they thought he might have a blood clot. Thank goodness he did not. And now he has a fluid buildup around the area of the surgery. They are not sure if it was because of the surgery or the drain shunt running from his brain to his stomach. This time he will be in for a few days, not sure when he will be coming home this time, hopefully sat or sunday. I was on vacation last week which helped since I was around to help out. Not sure whats going to happen next week because I'm back at work and won't be home so much to help.

And on top of all that my financial hole is not getting any better.

Edited: Dad is back home resting comfortably. He ended up not having to have surgery again, just a really long needle to remove the fluid.
