I am sick of working in a "kill whitey" environment. Most of the people I work with are so stereotypically ghetto it's out of control. But all I ever do here is complain.
200th episode of ER tonight. Granted, I haven't watched an episode of ER since last season's premiere (or finale, or whatever the one where Paul McCrane's character got his arm cut off by the helicopter), but it's nice to know it's still going strong.
Krauss the hamster that's mine by proxy escaped last night. Ed woke me up at 4 AM to tell me to shut my eyes so he could turn on the light and catch him, lol. Then I had to hold the squirmy bastard (Krauss, not Ed) while his cage-- which is on top of the refrigerator, so God knows how he got down-- was adjusted to prevent further jailbreaks. In conclusion, too much excitement+too many trips to the bathroom=sleepy Cat. I'll be hitting the sack by eight o'clock. Thank God for the weekend coming up.
I read the best book today. The Regulators, by "Richard Bachman". I am obsessed with Stephen King, I have made it my personal mission to read all of his books. I know, I know, how mainstream of me-- but they're so good.
Ever since I borrowed (read: stole) Ed's copy of Desperation, I have wanted to devour everything written by King. And so far I've read 23 out of 41 works (not counting his screenplays), the latest being today's ouerve, The Regulators. It's the companion novel to Desperation and hot diggitty damn, is it good. I sent it home with Ed, who trekked back to Long Island for a funeral tomorrow.
I tell ya, he has been to more funerals in the past year than I have ever been to in my life. I've been to two, ever, and since... eff... April (?) last year he's been to something like six. That's nuts.
Right. So, that's my life up the minute. When _staticpants_ and I set up our wrestling match, I'll let you know so you can all come watch me get my ass handed to me, lol. I'm so out of practice.
That reminds me, for all of those who would like to see any "highlights", please go here and look at any clip containing the name "Catra". That would be me in the leopard print pants. There's more, but it's too much work to link to them all, so for now.
